As a life-long advocate for the environment, I created GroundWork, a conceptual informational website, to educate others about the steps that businesses can take to better help the world around them. Many people are unfamiliar with the term CSR, and are even more unaware that many larger businesses are starting to implement these strategies into their own corporations. Hopefully by sharing, educating, and encouraging others to understand and use CSR to their advantage, others, too, can start to ignite change towards a more responsible future.

GroundWork aims to educate, inspire, and initiate individuals and corporations to establish a socially responsible management strategy within their organization. While companies focus on profitability, prosperity, and growth, they end up overlooking the very pertinent needs in their market and in the end they overlook wider influencers of their organization’s long-term success. Establishing a CSR policy is incredibly beneficial — not just to society, but also to businesses and employees. Businesses are increasingly turning to CSR to make a difference and build a positive brand around their company.
